which one is easier/better and does it matter which you install?

In text, please. With code tags (“Preformatted text”).

You’re using X11 which doesn’t, and probably never will, support HDR. HDR support is Wayland only.

I see, and how do I get the wayland and do I need to install everything again?

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/HDR_monitor_support

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KDE#HDR

I mean I still dont understand, does my version support that since it is KDE or do I need install everything from the ground up. It just says command not found. and does that work also for HDR movies like mkv or just games?

Select “Wayland” at bottom - left at login screen.

alright thanks, I think I need to install the whole os again?

You almost never have to reinstall the whole OS. You probably already have Wayland installed, you just need to select the Wayland session when you log in.

I mean I tried but I dont see it as an option when starting up not atleast in menu only (uefi, firmware, windows) I remember correctly

Never mind now got it, but dont know what are right configurations
Thank you so much for your help and patience. But I think with wayland there is some times little flicker true to screen. I did not notice that on X11
