GSCONNECT

Good evening.

I am having issues with GSConnect for quite some time.
I used to have it working smoothly in the past, but after changing Linux distributions, I came back to use Opensuse but for some reason I can not make it connect with my mobile APP again.
The only difference now is the internet provider.
My computer was always connected on cable.

What I have done so far:
Installation of KDE Connect on Android mobile device. Using it on the same network.
Installation of GSConnect extension for Firefox.
Installation of firewall-config and setup.
I followed the instructions on ‘https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_Connect’ to set the firewall.

My gnome version
GNOME 3.34.5

Is there something on the BIOS that I could have changed for this miscommunication?

Thanks

Hi
Did you ensure you only installed v33 of GSConnect?

Hi.

Yes. V33 is exactly the one a I got.
I just checked it on the ‘about menu’.
It has been two years I am trying to fix it every time in a while with no success.

Hi
It says if KDE Connect is installed it won’t work?

It does not rely on the KDE Connect desktop application and will not work with it installed.

Does it work when you stop firewall?

It is about desktop application. You cannot use GSConnect on desktop without corresponding application on another side.

Hi.

Does it work when you stop firewall?

I deactivated the firewall, and it does not work either.

FIXED
For the record.
I changed internet provider for other reasons and GSCONNECT is working fine again.
I still do not know what I could have done to fix before, but perhaps I should have contacted the previous internet provider to open up some ports.

Thanks
