Greeter Login Question - openSUSE 11.4

Good day,
I have an openbox setup to start with.
I am trying to alter the ‘greetingstring’ that shows up above the graphical login.
I am using xdm as my DisplayManager, but the text shows the same no matter which DisplayManager I use.
Currently, my login is the grey screen with the white logo above the login box.
The greeting says, "Welcome at…" and I am trying to change that to "Welcome to…"

I have been scouring files and learning the ins and outs of files I thought I never would never lay eyes on though.
Anyone have any idea where this little gem is hiding?

  • I changed the greeting in the ‘issue’ file for when I log in using the command prompt, but this one still eludes me.
Thank you for any help in advance.

/etc/X11/xdm/Xresources
the line with xlogin*greeting:

Info can be found with “man xdm”

PC: oS 11.4 (dual boot 12.1) 64 bit | Intel Core i7-2600@3.40GHz | KDE
4.6.0 | GeForce GT 420 | 16GB Ram
Eee PC 1201n: oS 11.4 64 bit | Intel Atom 330@1.60GHz | KDE 4.7.4 |
nVidia ION | 3GB Ram

Man! Thank you.
I was in that file countless times, and my biased eyes kept overlooking that.
Thank you again.
