Graphical User Interface(G.U.I.)

This morning I decided to update from 11.2 to 11.3, having followed the procedure when the system booted up there was no G.U.I just the command line asking asking me to log in. The only way I can get a G.U.I. is to start up in safe mode.
Can any one please tell how I get it to boot straight into the normal G.U.I.?

Have a read of this openSUSE Graphics Guide

with no other info provided by your post i can only guess it is
probably a graphics issue…i’d start here

Thank you both for your help.
I had hoped that doing an update as opposed to a clean instal I would avoid any major problems and all programs would work as they did in 11.2 but it seems I was wrong as I have a number I am going to have to take time to resolve!

Programs, yes. Video, no.
The video system has been completely overhauled. You can’t skip it.
