Hello I want a good dirs and files wiewer as I don t like Dolphin and icones prefer list Thanks
You can switch dolphin to show a list. Just click on the button there:
You might want to activate “Use common properties for all folders” in the dolphin settings (select “Configure Dolphin” from the menu), so all folders will be shown as list:
You could also try Konqueror or Krusader if you don’t like dolphin. They are both KDE based and included in the standard openSUSE repo.

Dolphin will give you a list, if you click the “Details” button, and
of course ls will give you a list…so will Midnight Commander…
have it your way!

You don’t tell us which DE you are using.
Dolphin is the default GUI FM. It is well integrated and quite good. It can present a list view or dual pane to the user if those options are selected.
If you are using the KDE you might like to try Krusader (in standard repos). I like the Krusader interface and generally prefer it to Dolphin for multi-directory file processing tasks - can be set as default KDE FM. Krusader is a bit like the elegant Sevant Salamander for that other o$.
Hope this helps.
The OP is talking about Dolphin, i.e. KDE. It’s become KDE’s default filemanager. It’s flexibility will allow you to shape it to what you like. In a terminal window one can use “mc” (Midnight Commander)
Thanks. I really should have known that. We are spoiled for choice with Dolphin, mc, Krusader and Konqueror - all great FM tools.

That’s a wonderful, fast and powerful filemanager. For all except
looking at iconized photos:-)
