I am having trouble booting up. It produces a
“/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt” and repeats “usb usb2-port1: Cannot enable” the ls command is working but most commands get a do not recognize response. Because of that, I am not sure how to even retrieve the “/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt” file. Thank you for any help.
Please take a look at “Using the Rescue System” – <https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/startup/html/book-opensuse-startup/cha-trouble.html#sec-trouble-data-recover-rescue>.
Once you’ve typed in the password of the user “root” when the system dropped into the emergency mode, you can simply use Bash CLI commands to inspect ‘/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt’.
- You can also copy that file (created in memory) to ‘/boot/’ – possibly – explanation is coming …

The bad news is, you may well have a defective boot device …
- Try to boot the installation medium and, check the status of your boot device – the section “More” when you boot the installation medium.
