Gnome-software Won't Load Any Content

When I open Software (i.e. “gnome-software”) in Tumbleweed/Gnome 49, it will load the initial splash page, but if I try to search for anything, I just get the spinning wheel and that’s it. Also, if I (as an experiment) click on any app button that shows up on the initial home page, no content ever loads.

I’ve tried: gnome-software refresh, sudo rpmdb -v rebuilddb, and I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling gnome-software using zypper.

In a terminal run

gnome-software --quit
gnome-software --verbose

wait until it finished loading and messages stopped, press several times ENTER in the terminal to have empty lines as visual marker and click on any software shown. Post full messages from the very beginning to the https://paste.opensuse.org/. You may want to configure larger scroll buffer in your terminal or capture output using script.

Do you see “Refreshing Data” when gnome-software starts?

Huh… well, I executed the two commands you posted above and actually gnome-software is back to working normally now. I can copy-n-paste everything out of the terminal into the pastebin you listed above… maybe something will still show up to suggest what the problem might have been.
