This is my first topic so please take mistakes gently, I want to know in how many days we can get gnome 47 since it’s been almost a week since it release.
Thank you
I know it’s not the answer you’re looking for, but usually new GNOME releases are a bit rough around the edges at first.
I say there’s no hurry, and I’m okay with Tumbleweed getting the upgrade whenever it’s ready.
From what the chatter I’ve seen online (not sure how true / accurate that was), we could get it within a week (assuming there are no roadblocks).
It takes time to package and go through QA. How long it takes depends on what issues come up and what needs to happen to resolve them - it’s not really possible to predict.
It’ll be added to TW when it’s ready within the framework of Tumbleweed - when it passes the unit tests and any issues/conflicts are resolved.
@antoniomarkrov Hi and welcome to the Forum
As others have indicated, all takes time… You can see progress here, it’s likely getting close…
