Any operation I try that involves manipulation using ghostscript seems to fail. I always get the following output:

Current allocation mode is global
This includes printing, utilities like pdf2ps and more or even running “gs” by itself in a command terminal.
Has anyone come across this? Is there any additional information I can gather to submit a useful bug report?
The problem occurs with version 9.27, either from the main repo or the Printing repo.
