“sudo zypper dup” of tumbleweed fails due to problems with many ghc (glasgow haskell compiler) checksum errors and excessive download times. Seems this has happened before but I don’t know resolution of the problem.
ghc has several hundred files. I’m not using ghc at the present but ghc is halting all the other updates.
Solution is probably with ghc people. Will wait a while before skipping these updates.
Yup … I saw this one as well … lucky for me I just needed that compiler for one project and was done with it so I did a “zypper nuke” of anything ghc and zypper ref && zypper dup and then proceeded with no problem … ghc-time gave me a size error between what zypper was told and what was actually on the server and “the next” ghc package gave me a key error so that’s when I backed out an nuked it …
