Why if i try to use this command:
sudo geany
i obtain always the message:
Geany: cannot open display
Do not run graphical programs as root with sudo.
Use
su -
geany
or ‘kdesu geany’ or ‘gnomesu geany’.
If you’d searched the forum for “cannot open display”, you’d have found this comes up approximately every three and a half minutes…
(P.S. why are you coding as root? ;))
