For radeon/amdgpu users.... radeon-profile

I’ve packaged up two packages, radeon-profile and radeon-profile-daemon if your in the mood to tweak your gpu or just see what it’s doing…

openSUSE Leap 15.0;](

openSUSE Tumbleweed;](

The radeon-profile-daemon is a systemd service and will give access to actually tweak the device as your user, else just fire up radeon-profile (desktop file or command line).

Downloads are in my Testing repository, please just download and install locally… :wink:

OBS package details;

Could you give instructions for installation and how to run the application.
Thanks a lot.

@Nickolov.n Hi and welcome to the Forum :smile:
What release of openSUSE are you using?

15.5 & 15.4 on two other machines.

@Nickolov.n Hi, I’ve not looked at this in a couple of years, I enabled the build for Leap 15.4 and Leap 15.5.

Leap 15.4:

Leap 15.5:

You just need to download the radeon-profile-daemon and radeon-profile packages and install with zypper, then start the radeon-profile-daemon service, systemctl start radeon-profile-daemon.

You need to enable the amd pp feature mask, so add amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xffffffff to your grub kernel boot options via YaST bootloader and reboot.

It only works on X11, well that’s all I’ve tested it on.

You might want to peruse the radeon-profile thread at:

The software is old as well, so perhaps you can advise what your wanting with this tool?
