Hi!
After the last update, I received this error message: “There is no update candidate for flash-player-11.2.202.425-2.17.1.x86_64”, and a prompt to report it.
OK! I’m reporting it.
Now what?
I’m using Open SUSE 13.2 x64 KDE.
TIA!
G.

A command to install all official “patches” from the update repo.
Anyway, zypper gives this repo infos:
Your repos shouldn’t cause a problem.
What flash-player do you actually have installed?
rpm -qi flash-player
Maybe you do not have flash-player installed at all, but rather freshplayer-plugin (Google’s V16 pepper-flash) from Packman?
In that case, I’d suggest to mark the flash-player patch as “Taboo – Never install” in YaST->Online Update (right-click on the update in the left list), or install flash-player instead of freshplayer-plugin.
Still, “sudo zypper patch” should give a more detailed description of the problem, and allow you to solve the conflict.
Or try to install the updates with YaST->Online Update.
Well…here we are:

Online update, couldn’t find any package for updating.
I have installed:
a)|
|
flash-player - Adobe Flash Plugin and Standalone Player
|
11.2.202.425-2.17.1-x86_64 from openSUSE

b) flash-player-kde4 - Adobe Flash Plugin and Standalone Player Settings
11.2.202.425-2.17.1-x86_64 from openSUSE
c) pullin-flash-player - Placeholder for Adobe Flash PlugIn
12.3-6.4.1-x86_64 from openSUSE
You already have the latest flash-player update installed, so no wonder that no update is not found and cannot be installed.
So the updater still shows you the update?
Right-click on the icon and choose “Check for new updates” and it should hopefully vanish.
Indeed!
Then the problem solved. rotfl!
THANKS AGAIN!!!

I see you solved your issue, but just for clarification, a comment. The
forums and mail lists are not an official place for “reports”, but a
place where users meet and help one another.
For reporting, understood as reporting bugs, generalized problems, you
have to report on Bugzilla: openSUSE:Submitting bug reports
But you did the right thing, asking here

Indeed! I could report the updater (?) issue, but I can’t reproduce it and I’m not sure for the in-between steps until the problem solved, so I’m not sure what exactly to report.
I think I’ll skip this time and I’ll file a report in the case of reapearance of this problem.
Bye!

Yes, bugzillas are for things that can be reproduced and investigated,
or at least with proving documentation.
