Fixing a bug in Plank

Not sure if this is the correct sub-forum for this question, but here it is anyway. There is a bug in Plank dock (https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1204157) which is caused by the dependency libwnck-3-0. On Debian and Ubuntu there already seems to be a patch for it. My question is, is it possible to accelerate this patch landing in openSUSE TW? Either by messaging the right dev or submitting the patch myself? Is there anything I can do, or do I just need to be patient?

Or is this just awaiting a bug fix upstream? (It’s a GNOME package)

I would say you have found the place where the work on it is reported: the bug report.

When you have any additional to remark there, please do do.

(If you did not understand, the bugzilla uses the same username/password as here on the forums.

Thanks, I added my comments. I’m actually thinking about taking a deep dive and trying to submit the patch, which I found in the GNOME repo, to openSUSE myself (if time allows :)).
