After downloading a plug-in and selecting to restart firefox, firefox closes but does not restart. Therefore the plug-in is not installed.
Any help would be appreciated!
Open a terminal and type: firefox
what happens
firefox starts

It starts - But what about your plugin. What was/is the plugin?..blah blah;)
The plug-in is not installed. I am trying to install “speed dial” and “read it later.” I have tried to install each at seperate times and when I click restart firefox - firefox closes and does not start again.
I rebooted the computer and it all came together. Thanks for the replies!
