Hi
I am using opensuse 11.4 64 bit
Until a few days ago firefox was able to save an image using the right click on the mouse, now it does not work.
I am aware that this has been a problem in the past, however i have not had the problem since installing 11.4
Can anyone help with this problem

Seems OK here
On 12.1 though
MozillaFirefox-10.0.2-4.2
Not a problem here (11.4, FF 10.0.2). Is this a problem for you on all web pages, or just a few in particular? Can you save images here from the forums?
I can’t save an image from any web site .
I have not done any updates either
What happens if you drag the image to your desktop?

try this:
[you can print the following instructions for use while firefox is
closed, or read them in an alternative browser]
close all firefox tabs
close firefox
hold down Alt and press F2, in the resulting popup at the top of the
screen type
xterm
and press enter
firefox -safe-mode
leave this terminal OPEN until told to close it, below
a “Firefox Safe Mode” window will pop up, do nothing in that window
except press the “Continue in Safe Mode” button
a new Firefox window pops up, in it go to any website where you have
had a problem downloaded an image and
right click on the image you what to download
in the right click menu choose “Save image as”…do NOT click on “Copy

open firefox as you normally do (with an icon or whatever)
come back to here http://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php?t=472839
and give your report on whether or not you were able to save an image
following the instructions above, and include your copy/pasted
info…and, tell us what desktop environment and version you are using…
when all of that is done maybe we can move toward a solution…
