GTK System dialog freeze

Today, I wanted to print something from the Gimp application. However, the program froze when the print dialog appeared. Since I use the KDE environment, I tried to see how other GTK programs behave. I tried Firefox and Chromium. Both also froze when attempting to launch the system print dialog. I created a new test user on my computer, and the above programs behaved the same way.
