Firefox does't want record login and password

Hi,
I did a new install Leap 42.3.
Firefox doesn’t want to record login and password and I can’t add a master password.
I followed the first steps of the official troubleshooting;

  • Check the config
  • Start in safe mode
    Nothing better.
    The following will be to uninstall and reinstall.
    Prior that I want to know if someone has ideas how to fix that in a simple way.

I’m not having a problem here. But then I’ve been using firefox for a long time. Maybe I’ll create a new user account here, and experiment to see if I then have a problem.

Uninstall then reinstall probably won’t change anything. Instead, you need to create a new firefox profile.

Okay, I started with a new user account.

I was able to set a master password. I was able to have firefox save a password.

I made a new profile. I can save master password and record new login, password with it.

Now, I’ll configure it the same way I did for default. Time consuming but issue fixed.
