The website tried to negotiate an inadequate level of security.
www.google.com uses security technology that is outdated and vulnerable to attack. An attacker could easily reveal information which you thought to be safe. The website administrator will need to fix the server first before you can visit the site.
Error code: NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY
I’ve googled it. One site had me go to troubleshooting → application basics → open directory and delete the cert8.db file. I did that. Didn’t work. Still can’t open secure sites. I reset firefox to default settings. Same thing same error. Not sure what to try next. My date and time is set correctly on the PC in case anyone comes to that conclusion.
I originally posted I can’t open any https websites but then just noticed I can open my bank’s website. So, I am not sure how many I cannot. For sure, I cannot open google or gmail. I get the error above.
