Firefox add-ons

Stop-or-Reload button saves yet more precious screen space on my netbook…

Cooliris now works for linux. It’s a sort of virtual wall of images that can be used on various websites, or hard drive directories. It’s got a few niggles (and a stupid name :)), but is actually quite well designed for what it does - whether what it does appeals or not.

I’ve even had a look at /sys/block/sd[x]/stat, and it doesn’t seem to hammer your hard drive - useful on a solid state netbook.

This is one of the sweetest add-ons I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t give firefox any bit of functionality but it’s still cool.

It has the link to the add-on and then if you go to gallery you can preview the skins before you use them.

My friend was saying he had it for windows firefox. So I went to the site and sure enough they had it for linux as well. I’m currently using a guitar skin with swiftfox.

i use adblock , this helps to surf though various sites with out having a chance to see those disturbing ads.

Ditto and I use Autopager for ease of scrolling in Google (Can’t seem to get it to work on anything else accept a search engine tho.)

Where exactly have you been surfing?

Actually… don’t answer that.
