i have some performance problems on an office pc using the opensuse radeon driver, thats why i want to test the proprietary driver. The pc has a Radeon HD 5000/6000/7350/8350 Series
graphic card. Am i right that the AMDGPU-PRO driver does not support this card?

Look at tweaking the radeon driver with kernel options and an radeon.conf file?
You will have to use fglrx for those cards, and unfortunaley fglrx seems to be broken in many case on 42.2
