Fedora 43 OBS VM still on Plasma 6.4.5

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is intentional or not, but the OBS VM of Fedora 43 remains on Plasma 6.4.5, whereas Fedora 43 itself has upgraded to Plasma 6.5 and now Plasma 6.6. Is this intentional not to update the Fedora versions from the initial release, or should we expect the VM to upgrade within a version?

The reason I ask is because my project has optional features that require it to be built with Plasma/KDecoration 6.5+ to work and some users are complaining.

Thanks,

Paul

@paulmcauley Hi and welcome to the (openSUSE) Forum :smile:
Not sure where your getting this image from, sounds like a $HOME or ISV repository which is nothing to do with openSUSE and the openSUSE Build Service. You would need to contact the packager(s) direct…

Perhaps provide a download link to see where it’s being built?

It’s from the standard repository path Fedora:43/standard added directly from “add repository” in the project config. See https://build.opensuse.org/project/repository_state/home:paulmcauley/Fedora_43

The build log at https://build.opensuse.org/build/home:paulmcauley/Fedora_43/x86_64/klassy/_log indicates Plasma 6.4.5:
[ 14s] [956/1048] cumulate kdecoration-devel-6.4.5-1.fc43

@paulmcauley so that is your $HOME repository, then you need to ask on the Build Service Mailing list if they can check/update the files in the build repository;
