Hi,
I made an appliance in SUSE Studio, using the kernel desktop from factory. Unfortunately it fails to boot on my system, yielding that MCE message with the most recent kernel. The only distro I can install is LMDE as that has an older kernel without the problem. It appears to be a problem with the cpuidle driver, and I have no idea how to fix it though unfortunately. I use an i7 920 and X58A-UD3R board
