Extract Audio CDs

I have alot of CDs to extract due to a HDD failure. I started using K3B but I am liking ABCDE better (mp3 and ogg in different folders). I can not figure out how to get KDE to automaticly do an action when a “audiocd” is inserted. Isnt there someway to run ABCDE “automaticly” when a CD is inserted? I even created an “Device Action” with /usr/bin/abcde. It shows up as the first option, but it doesnt work either.

Ive been out of Linux for awhile. sorry. Thanks for any help.

In the System Settings - Advanced - Device Actions

Add your application in there

Thank you for your help. I did that first. In Device Actions there are about ten options. I added one for abcde. It now shows that as an option to click on when a new disc is inserted. I was trying to get it automaticly run the abcde script without any user input. I found one person who did this with ivman. Is there a way to make abcde run without any user input through Device Actions? Thanks again

Just for grins, compare the command line arguments for abcde versus
say amarok and kb3. There may be something in the command line
differences that will help.
