I don’t know that there is an ETA as such, but I do know (from existing threads on the same topic) that it is being worked on.

Whenever you see an HTTP 500 error anywhere (not just zypper, eg in a web browser),
It means that the server has an internal error of some sort, and there’s nothing you can do as the web client.

Just wait and try again later (or report the problem to someone in authority if you wish).
