Enter key has no effect

Hi, I do not know what reason makes no new line when I input enter key. This is annoying because it makes my post not friendly reading. Could you help me? Thanks. bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

You mean, when you post here in these forums?
This could be caused by your browser. I have this problem when I use Konqueror with the KHTML backend. Switching to WebKit fixes this…

Or does it not work in general?

When yo mean your Enter key does not work in openSUSE, then please tell us which version of openSUSE you use and if the problem occurs everywhere, or only within a desktop. In the last case please tell which desktop.

When you mean you have a problem posting in the forums, this is the wrong place. It should then have gone to the Forums Feedback > How to use the Forums subforum. And in that case, you of course need to tell which browser you use on the forums.

What’s with the bs’. Are you trying to be a Bee ?rotfl!

Sorry, I did not say it clearly. I use IE 10, Windows 7 OS. When I type a post at: https://forums.opensuse.org/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=2550672 (an example at this forum), the cursor does not go to next line as I type Enter key now. I typed many letters ‘b’ in last post, these 'b’s always stays on one line, go right. It does not wrap to next line when I typed, although it showed to next line after published. The problem seems to be in IE 10. I ask it here because it exists only on SUSE forum. Thanks,

load up and try Chrome or Firefox or Opera or any other browser…

IE is the one most likely to fail or let a virus in… (it has been
that way for 15 years, why continue to use it?)

While you are free to use any operating system and any browser you like, I hope you do not expect us openSUSE users to comment on IE on Windows 7 not functioning to your likeing. I at least have no usefull comment to make and I am not going to install Windows 7 to see if I can reproduce your problem.

Hi
I’ve asked the Forum guru if this is a known issue with vB. In future
best to ask in the support information sub forum and be specific with
OS, browser etc

Hi
Our forum Admin tested with IE10 and could not find an issue, do you
have any add-ons running, if so disable and try again.
