Encryption

Encryption within openSuse.

Is there a simple possibility know to eleminate the encryption procedures in such a way that only DES remains in order to get rid of the Export Control Classification Number 5D002?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

If you mean the password encryption you can set which is used by default
and then the only way to change that would be to become root and change
it. This is done in Yast: Security and User: Local Security or
something similar to that. The default is Blowfish so you can have
passwords that are reasonably long but DES is an option.

Good luck.

It is not a problem of passwort encryption. I mean the data encryption.
