Encrypt system and bootloader in a dual boot system?

Reading this:

https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/security/html/book-security/cha-security-cryptofs.html#sec-security-cryptofs-y2-part-inst

I’m not clear if the presence of an existing (and continueing!!!) Win10 eufi install will impact or complicate selecting disk encryption during the install of TW using yast graphical installer options?

I use disk encryption (inc bootloader) already on my laptop, but that is not a dual-boot system…

Thanks. Jbt

It should not be a problem.

I’m encrpting openSUSE, with Win8.1 also on the same machine. Okay, in my case “/boot” is not encrypted. But at one time I also had that encrypted.

No matter what, the EFI partition is not encrypted. And that’s why the dual booting makes no difference.

smashing, thank you.
