Hello,
I have an old Matrox G550 graphics card installed. The Driver being used is “mga”. I have checked here and the card is noted as auto-detected and has 3d support.
It runs around 200 fps according to glxgears and that same prog reports that “Direct Rendering” is off.
I have tried via the System>Configuration>ConfigureX11 and the “Enable 3D” button is ticked but nothing changes.
Any clues as to why this should be and how can I get it switched on?
