Hello, I am thinking to buy an SSD drive to install opensuse and leave the 1TB drive for windows (while making some partitions from the 1TB drive to be shared by both OSes)
This is on my laptop, which has a sata optical drive that should be able to be replaced by an SSD drive.
Would that be fine?
I boot Windows 10 & Tumbleweed just fine on separate drives. This is known as hard partitioned, partitioned in hardware vs soft, partitioned in software (same drive.)
I did however fresh install Tumbleweed secondary to Win 10. The installer did a really good job taking care of everything automatically in a way eOS did not like.
