I have some videos that are high resolutions that I would like to downsample to lower size/bitrate. Is there any good apps in the repositories or sourceforge that would be not just good at this, but intuitive as well? I would like something that has profiles or templates where that can be more automated.
do you need batch encoding? If so, I have no idea if the other tools available support this, but my own do and also have quality presets. I would suggest using h264enc which you can get from my signature below (xvidenc and divxenc also have the same features but are a bit outdated and I’m planning to update them in a few weeks)
