Dolphin makes no sound when moving file to Trash

whenever i try to move a file/folder to trash, dolphin no longer makes any sound

i should be able to hear a bell sound but nothing happens
i didn’t change the plasma workspace notification settings, i don’t get it

I also have this issue with TW KDE Plasma 5 Dolphin. After a recent update there is no sound when selecting a file to move to either wastebin or when trying to permanently delet a file. This always used to make a sound. Other sounds work as they always have done. Dolphin is V23.04.0.
