Dolphin - Editing file names

Having received much help from this forum my newly installed Leap 16.0 KDE/Plasma/Wayland OS is working acceptably and I am learning about all the changes that have been made. I have yet to find one I needed, but that’s progress.

One niggle is that I now cannot find the option to edit filenames in an edit window rather than editing in line.

Is it possible that the option is there but I can’t find it?
If not, can this facility be put back into Dolphin?

The normal way is inline. But if you want it via a window, rightclick on the file/directory->Properties

Hi Hui,
Thanks for the reply but sadly what you advise is not working any more. The right click takes me to the entry but in edit mode not a separate edit window.
Why do you find it different I ask, perhaps you are using TW which works correctly and has the editing options in Dolphin.

Hi @Budgie2, did you notice that @hui was suggesting to use the Properties menu entry, not the Rename one?

Hi Cris70 and also Hui,
I have it sorted now. What I needed was in the View tab of settings. All OK now. Thanks for noticing.
