When I was launching the program “Discover” at KDE desktop, at the feature page it show “Unable to load applications. Please verify Internet connectivity”.
But I am pretty sure there was the internet connectivity.
Launched in terminal, I saw the following errors:

Yes, that bug seems to be the same problem.

It can be a good idea to add to the bug a comment saying you also have the problem so that it is clear it is not a isolate problem.

Looking in ‘/usr/share/knsrcfiles/’ and “head -1 *” – most of the “.knsrc” have “KNewStuff3]” – KNS3 – as the 1st line – except for – “ksysguard.knsrc” –

[KNewStuff2]

Changed the “2” to a “3” and, the error message no longer occurs …

The “ksysguard5” package needs a Bug Report if this is to be repaired for everyone …

I have changed the [KNewStuff2] in /usr/share/knsrcfiles/ksysguard.knsrc to [KNewStuff3], and indeed following error disappears.

No, i too suffer from it on a fully updated Leap 15.3. Getting a lot of similar (maybe same) errors when running it from the terminal, too. I’ve added another comment to the aforementioned bug report #1184335](1184335 – Discover reports connection error even connection works).

Use Yast discover has never worked well in openSUSE

I already use Yast for most things that I need to install but Discover I’ve always used as a Gui for Flatpaks. Lol. Now I can’t do that and have to install and update them via the command line. Not a huge problem but Discover does make it easier to search for things in Flatpak.

Yes, I can use the flathub website but Discover was just so much easier and faster to deal with Flatpaks.

Is there another Flatpak GUI somewhere that I’m missing?
