Hello all,
Am trying to use this card with the radeon o-s driver.
On startup, the Xorg log says that the drm-dri chain is installed ok and that direct rendering is enabled. However, glxgears and friends say that it is disabled.
Can’t see anything in the logs to show that dri(?) was unloaded or anything.
Anybody has seen this and what’s the cause?

Simplistic idea here: Are desktop effects enabled and working ok?
What does this command show?
glxinfo | grep direct

/CODE]It may be that the radeon driver is not in use. Maybe the fbdev driver or similar is loaded instead. Post the output of
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
