It is recognized by Yast under modems.But I am getting No carrier detected on wvdial,qinternet and many I have tried with.
Here is the output:

--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATZ

--> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 +FCLASS=0
ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 +FCLASS=0
OK
--> Modem initialized.
--> Idle Seconds = 300, disabling automatic reconnect.
--> Sending: ATDT*99#
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT*99#
NO CARRIER

--> Sending: ATDT*99#
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT*99#

Is there a particular reason you’re trying to use wvdial (and qinternet) rather than Network Manager to connect with? Which desktop environment are you using?

This old thread may be helpful if you want to persist with a traditional modem dialling utility. IIRC, /etc/wvdial.conf needs to be configured correctly (specific to that device and the telco you’re connecting to), otherwise the type of behaviour you’re experiencing can occur.

Due to technical issues,I count reply promply but it was my mistake.I supplied the wrong phone number to dial.The reason for using traditional method is that kinternet couldnt detect any modem but wvdial would.

Ah, so its all good now. Thanks for the update.
