I saw in another post that Agama only offers GNOME and KDE Plasma for desktop “patterns” at install time.
May I suggest that the range of choices offered by Agama should be dependant on whether (or not) the repository host is available via internet connection?
If not connected, the current limited choices would understandably be offered as part of the ISO build for the Distro.
If connected, however, it is strongly recommended that the range of choices be expanded to offer all Desktop Managers that have been “confirmed” as residing in the master repository, allowing that for greater User satisfaction with install-time outcomes, because they will find themselves on familiar territory at the first contact with the OS.
If you only want to support a limited range of DMs at install time, even if only via remote repository, could I ask that you consider the set of offerings to include:

My suggested alternate approach keeps the ISO small, but allows, as I said, more User gratification at getting what they want installed, at first attempt, rather than post-install cleanup/modification.
No, we only have those right now, because openSUSE has criterias, which have to be met, so they can get included as a installation option (those are not high, but there).
There is an effort from an openSUSE member to get some more options into it.
I am also working on getting COSMIC into leap/tw.
if everything looks good, we should get gnome, kde, xfce, lxqt, cosmic at least. maybe hyprland. Those things need to be first in TW before they can get shipped in Leap (but as TW still didn’t switch over to the new agama installer, you are maybe missing out)
