I did not create it. I found it on the web. I am using Variety to cycle thru a curated collection of wallpapers.
Well I went and done it … had to add
Section "ServerFlags" Option "IgnoreABI" "1" EndSection to my 20-nvidia.conf (ver 25.0.0.1) which is not necessary with 25.0.0.16 or later
Is the text banner permanent or just pasted into the background? ![]()
Yep.
The background is from my old blender 3D drawings, the banner text, I used inkscape
to draw on top of my drawing. ![]()
Hello. Mini PCs with Tumbleweed work very well for me. I have two, a Beelink SER5 and a Chuwi Ubox. The Beelink seems to be of higher quality than the Chuwi, but both are very good for the price I paid for them.
LOL
I can see “MicroOS” here: this is my next project, I want to try this on a specific device, too. There, not many applications are needed. And also a very basic OS is sufficient. So, I thought I might try MicroOS.
One doesn’t do applications on MicroOS, it’s intended for containerized workloads. If you want a derivate with GNOME on it, install Aeon. Though hat is experimental.
Hello. I didn’t know that Hyprland could be installed on openSUSE. That desktop looks great.
Best regards
Er, @malcolmlewis has about 26 Flatpaks on his system. I would even need 3 or 4.
@knurpht Isn’t that containerized? May or must I not use this OS for a specific minimal use?
It is intended to be a minimal, immutable server OS. But, others may give you a more detailed reply.
Many are supporting packages for the applications…

I just wanted something light weight, so developed in a VM as to what was needed, then crafted a combustion script to deploy on a self install MicroOS image.
