I’m noticing increasingly updates happening with zypper dup (here on TW) - even twice on some days… Does this perhaps have anything to do with Anthropic’s Mythos? ![]()
Please elaborate. We are not mind readers.
You can follow the Tumbleweed snapshots here.
As you can see if everything plays the way it should the “normal” flow is a daily snapshot. You might occasionally see two updates on the same day if you have third party repositories that are not updated in synch or if you are in a time zone far away from CET where the openQA servers run.
Easy hint … simply do 'net search for that AI product … there are endless news articles.
Sure there are endless news articles about any buzzword, even more so for anything AI. And I read a ton of them and guess what the OP might have meant?
This is no way to ask a question, sorry. This is just lazy.
Just now read an article about Anthropic Mythos (A.M.), and having read two paragraphs tells me what @katpatuka is referring to.
To quote the article:
“Mozilla added some important data to that debate Tuesday, that early access to Mythos Preview had helped it pre-identify 271 security vulnerabilities in (this week’s release of Firefox 150).”. End quote.
So, if a software organization (cough, openSUSE) could use a tool like that to quickly reveal many many many vulnerabilities, that will benefit them (as with Mozilla) (time-wise).
So, the OP’s original question was, “… why are there more daily updates being released?”. Hmmmm. Is openSUSE using A.M. and finding a bunch of vulerabilities (quickly?) ![]()
Wonders what the futures market is like with tin foil… ![]()
B.A.U with openQA…
