I have the same issue in 64 bit Suse. I managed to get the printer to print a pdf to my home directory and it was 80kb but neither Evince nor Acrobat would not open it. I believe the driver has to be the color Post Script driver which I could not find.
Hi all,
I had the same problem… now I’m find the solution:
you mustn’t provide the ppd, instead yuo must select Generic from manufacturers and then Generic CUPS-PDF Printer (en). Now everything work rotfl!.
I’ve just updated the how-to: Printing to PDF HOWTO - openSUSE
thanks,
Daniele
Thats great - thanks
