I tried to search for another message, nothing. Has any progress been made in making a x-fi sound driver? Any news thanks. I’m having to swap 3 jacks from motherboard sound card to x-fi card every time I switch OS. I use a 5.1 surround sound.

Some progress. They ported the OSS driver over to alsa, but they are looking for testers:

I’m willing to test it. However, I’m having problems with speakers and/or sound card on windows. So, I’ll have to work that out first.
