copy and paste function -I had and now gone

Hi:

host windows xp
guest opensuse 12.3
vB 4.2.18

Yesterday I could c/p from host to guest and vice versa. Today I can’t. In XP the function works perfectly. In OpenSuse it always pastes the same text. I think OpenSuse has a virus. I didn’t change any of the settings.

I just did a complete scan…virus infection from all those sites I have been researching on how to configure the system…it is working now

There are no virus in Linux. Fear not.
