Hi,
I have an LG C1, connected via HDMI to an Onkyo NR-7100, and in turn, my PC (I have tried a direct C1 > PC connection and the issue persists, so the amp is not part of the problem chain).
When I first boot and switch to the C1 (I have 2 other monitors connected to use the desktop day to day, and the C1 for gaming), I get freezes every 8-10 seconds.
These freezes persist until either
a) I hard reset the TV via the power adapter
b) I turn VRR/Gsync off and on again via Game Mode settings in the C1.
The issue happens regardless of if VRR is on or off, I just assume that changing this option forces a display reset and fixes the issue.
While the issue is happening, sound still plays, and any key that’s held down during the freeze will rapidly repeat itself.
I’m on NVIDIA with an RTX4090 (although previous driver versions have had the same problem)
Any pointers appreciated, I’m pretty sure this is an issue with the TV as I get another issue in Windows (where the display will rapidly flash on and off) which can only be resolved by powering the TV off, too.
