how can i connect to internet in openSUSE 11.1 gnome desktop? there isn’t any connection menu in network manager in task bar.

Maybe you should supply more info to this thread,
because there can be a lot of reasons for your missing
internet connection!
Type the following commands (as root) in a terminal and post it:
ifconfig
when using wi-fi also:
iwconfig
when these two commands print “eth0: no interface found”
or “wlan0: no interface found” (for wi-fi), you should
post the output of:
lspci
