Is anyone else having any issues with Compiz? I’ve installed 11.4 RC1, done the nVidia install the “hard” way and enabled desktop effects. I’ve installed CCSM and tweaked some effects to my liking (why is wobbly windows on by default?!?) but every time I open an app then it starts up small. Thunderbird and Chromium open at about 200x200, while MonoDevelop opens as small as it can (about 640x480). If I resize the windows, close them and re-open them then it has no effect and they’re small again the next time.
Anyone else experiencing it and have any ideas, or is it just bug report time?
