Compiz isn't working

Hi,

I’m running KDE 4.12 release 44.2, with the correct NVIDIA drivers installed. Compiz was working great until I upgraded compiz, and then it stopped working :frowning: I understand this is a Compiz problem that others are having too. But, my question is this…Before I discovered that others were having this problem I was trying to get Compiz to work, so I do not know what packages within Compiz are the default, and I noticed today their was an update to a newer version of Compiz, so can anyone please tell me the default packages please

Thanks,
Tom

Hi
Anything on the cd/dvd is the default 0.7.4  I am running 0.7.6 which
I upgraded too for the spherical effects and then disabled the
repository. Normally I would recommend you should just run with oss,
non-oss and updates. Maybe packman as an optional one too.

If you disable all but the three or four above, then in YaST, seach on
compiz, all the ones in red are the default ones.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply! I knew that I had to roll back to the version…I just did not know how to do that. Thank you for telling me to disable the Compiz repository! Compiz is working now!

Again thanks a lot for the quick reply

Cheers,
Tom
