Clipboard Manager for Linux ?

Is there a Clipboard Manager (such as M8 clips - Free Clipboard software program: Free Multi Clipboard by M8 Software, or other similar ones (101Clips) for Linux?

there is something built into KDE called Klipper, but since i’ve
never seen or used M8 or Klipper i have no idea either what you
need or what KDE has…

give it a try

I have KDE 3.x installed (tho’ use gnome as default); but can’t find klipper there or on trying any of the repo’s (including packman) or from here: Software.openSUSE.org (1-click install).

Well, there is, ye ol’ xclipboard.
And webpin returns ‘glipper’ as result.

did you install from livecd or dvd ? klipper is on my install, can be found down the bottom-right of the screen alongside the clock etc. or find it via kmenu-- system - desktop applet

Andy

hmmmmmmm…it is part of the default KDE desktop…down in the right
corner, a little clipboard icon with a K in the middle…

i guess (since you have KDE installed) you can (in Gnome) try Alt+F2
and type

klipper

in the blank, and hit enter, and see what happens…well, look down
in the “task bar” and see if there appears a Klipper icon

if so, click on it and spend 3 minutes reading and you will know more
about it than i do!!

my GUESS it will have more features and options than the M8 you
miss…let us know!!
