Checking file access permissions for “PHP FPM 8”

I would like to point experience reports out from a few information sources.

  1. Unable to launch php-fpm.service ‘Permission denied - Unable to read php-fpm.conf’
  2. ERROR: failed to open configuration file /etc/php8/fpm/php-fpm.conf : Permission denied (13)
  3. Failed to start The PHP FastCGI Process Manager.
  4. PHP-FPM is blocked by AppArmor
  • Are any “hotfixes” (and further adjustments) still relevant together with a package for the software “php8-fpm 8.0.13-36.8”?
  • Would you fiddle with a command like “sudo aa-complain ‘/etc/apparmor.d/php-fpm’”?
  • Will the clarification evolve any further for affected components?
