concerns suse 12.3, probably from suse 11.x onwards
problem:
capisuite starts and quits immediately afterwards.
systemctl --a | egrep capisuite
reveals this fact.
solution:
/etc/sysconfig/isdn/cfg-contr0
needs to be renamed to
/etc/sysconfig/isdn/cfg-contr1
since capisuite can’t cope with cfg-contr0
stop and restart isdn in yast2 - runlevels, then start capisuite.
That’s it.
This solution hasn’t been worked out by me. After a week’s trouble I found it here:

problem:
capisuite startet und stoppt sofort wieder.
systemctl --a | egrep capisuite
zeigt eine entsprechende fehlermeldung.
loesung:
/etc/sysconfig/isdn/cfg-contr0
muss umbenannt werden in
/etc/sysconfig/isdn/cfg-contr1
denn capisuite kann mit cfg-contr0 nichts anfangen.
stop and restart isdn in yast2 - runlevels. dann capisuite starten.

die loesung ist nicht auf meinem mist gewachsen. die suche hat mich ca. 1 woche gekostet. die loesung steht hier:
