Something is wrong when I try to do a live upgrade from 15.4 to 15.5
I get a ‘mounting media failed’ message. It seems to want a CD. Why?
‘no medium found on /dev/sr8’
any hints appreciated. Thanks.
This is very vague.
There are several ways to upgrade 15.4 > 15.5. So you have to specify what you are doing.
A good start would be to show
zypper lr -d
Do you still happen to have a repo left over after installing Leap 15.4? You can check by looking into YaST software repositories, one of the repositories should have something like “/dev/” in it
If you do have it, remove it and the issue should resolve itself
